TEDxChennai presents: A LIVE viewing of TEDGlobal 2010

TEDxChennai has been able to obtain a license for a mass live viewing of TEDGlobal. We worked with the TED organization to allow us to share these "ideas that are worth spreading" with the rest of Chennai.

While being in Oxford would be ideal, (as all of us religiously watching the FIFA WC 2010 have learnt) being able to watch this LIVE, with many other like minded individuals (and TED-lovers/fans) is not a bad second place --  we are really kicked about it, and want you to join our party!

 

What is TED? As The Guardian puts it here, TED is "the ultimate forum for blue-sky thinking"; we at TEDxChennai think of it as an opportunity to expand our thinking and horizons -- across all walks of life.

I can just view them online; why should I come?

Because you will get to see such talks LIVE, as they happen in the TED Global 2010 conference. Some of these talks will be posted online later, but you can never be sure which ones. Also, this gives you an opportunity to immediately discuss some of these intellectually stimulating talks with other (100+) like-minded individuals like yourself.

 

p.s. not having to pay an two arms and a two legs to be part of this event is also a benefit.
